Pastor A. DeWayne Tillman, Sr. is a son of the Church, raised in the City of Jesup, GA and developed through the fires of life. Pastor Tillman is a Man among Men, and a Preacher among Preachers. He serves with humble pride as the Senior Pastor of the Greater Refuge Cathedral COGIC in Sylvania, GA. He has also served as the Secretary of the Screven County Ministerial Alliance, Co-Chairperson of the Gathering of Eagles Pastors & Leaders Conference, former President of the Department of Evangelism of the Southeast GA Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction COGIC, and presently as Superintendent of the Progressive District of the Northern GA II Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Churches of God In Christ making him one of the youngest District Superintendents in the State of Georgia.
Pastor Tillman is a preacher, singer, musician, and an author. Yet, his most cherished accomplishment is his marriage to Dr. LaTara Hunter-Tillman which has spanned over two decades. He is also the very proud Father of two children – Ms. Atira Divine and Master Allen D. “Myles” Tillman II. Empowered, informed, and engaged in the work of transforming lives, Pastor Tillman is blazing a trail for others to follow.

My life story is a universal story. Dysfunctional behaviors all manifest in various ways, yet at the core, they are all the same. In every area of society, we all come from families that are dysfunctional in one way or another. By understanding the system, symptoms, and how to properly heal, we can cancel the life shattering affects that takes hold on our lives. By sharing my personal story, we gain a sense of commonality, and the courage to know that anyone can both overcome and transform their dysfunctional family.
